This was my first clean break from the previous set where I started over conceptually. I'd recently seen a painting of circles on a beige background in a gallery (I don't remember the painting or the painter) and wondered how I could make something similar with randomized inputs.

After this I began to regularly take photos of things to use as inspiration—usually a pattern or aesthetic—that could be used as a goal to work towards as a starting point.
