This series is actually me revisiting something I worked on before I started the project using Voronoi diagrams.
Diagram with 12 static points and a 13th following the mouse
Every couple of frames, the points move just a little, to create a jitter effect
These diagrams take a bunch of points on a canvas and color each pixel of the canvas according to the closest point. The result is a natural-ish crystal-structure.
These are some of those early, pre-project sketches, also done in Processing.
Wallpapers
These wallpapers were generated from the same program that created the initial post. The program mixes predefined rules with controlled randomization so that each time it's run the output will be unique. Because of this, each wallpaper size is a variation instead of just a crop.
